The Chillicothe R-II School District is similar to the other 438 K-12 school districts in Missouri in that the school reflects the values and expectations of the community it serves. The school is governed by seven board members that are elected by members of this community. School districts in Missouri have a responsibility not only to the people of the Chillicothe R-II School District but are also accountable to the citizens of our state and must abide by the laws, rules, and regulations established by the General Assembly and the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
